How much does it cost?

My rate for developmental editing is £37/hour. Get in touch today so that I can provide you with a bespoke quote for your book.

How long does it take?

Typically, you should allow around 4 weeks for a developmental edit but this obviously depends on the length and complexity of your manuscript.

Can you developmentally edit a non-fiction book?

Yes! Getting your message across is just as important as getting a character right.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

I require a £100 deposit before starting work on your book. I will send you full details when you get in touch!

What comes next?

After a developmental edit, it’s a good idea to review the changes and make your own before then getting a copyedit.
