Developmental editing

Structural or developmental editing supports your writing to make it the best it can be. Whether that’s strengthening your plot or character in fiction or getting your message across in non-fiction, a developmental edit will ensure that you have the strongest manuscript possible.

What do you get?

  • A full read of your manuscript with notes and comments made in the text using the comments feature of MS Word
  • Big-picture edits and rewrites, if needed, to improve the experience for the reader
  • Developmental editing focused on your needs for fiction or non-fiction
  • An in-depth feedback report with support and guidance for further editing and rewriting, including references and links to further support your development as a writer

I don’t know where to begin thanking Nick for the great developmental editing services. He not only came up with great what-if questions concerning essential details, but he was thorough and did the work in good time.
I can say that Nick helped me bring my thriller to life. I am over the moon delighted and will certainly call on his services again.
